Installation & compatibility
OverCue supports both hardware profiles of the CDJ-3000. Use OverCue Desktop to prepare your USB and follow the installation instructions.
Supported players.

| CDJ-3000 | Both hardware profiles | 3.22 |
Install the OverCue package.
OverCue Desktop creates your installation USB. Follow the steps in the app, then use the player's update procedure to install OverCue.
- Installation and removal packages both use the filename the player expects,
CDJ3Kv000.UPD. Never put both on one USB. - USB preparation can erase the selected drive. Back up music, settings and USB contents first.
Advanced diagnostics.
SSH access for troubleshooting is optional and turned off by default. If your release supports it, follow its instructions to put your own SSH public key in an authorized_keys file. This is your key, not a Pioneer DJ or AlphaTheta key. Never share the private key.
Removal and recovery.
Follow the removal instructions for the version you installed. Recovery is not guaranteed. The removal package is separate from the installer. Deleting a file from your USB does not necessarily remove OverCue from the player.
Understand the risks.
OverCue is independent software. Back up your music and settings, and read the legal and safety notice before installing.
