PRIVACY

Your privacy on this website.

This site uses no advertising trackers, analytics scripts, embedded social feeds or newsletter forms. Our hosting provider still processes the connection data needed to load and protect the site.

Who is responsible?

OverCue is a community-run project by three independent DJs. For privacy questions or requests, contact us at support@overcue.gg.

What happens when you visit.

Vercel hosts this website. When you open a page or download a file, it processes connection details such as your IP address, the URL, the time of the request and browser information. This helps it deliver the site and protect it. Which logs are kept depends on the site's hosting settings.

Fonts and images load from this site. The site does not send analytics or marketing requests, but that does not mean the hosting provider processes no data or that all processing is anonymous. Vercel explains its own practices in its privacy policy.

Downloads and appearance preferences.

Downloads are public and do not require an account or password. Choosing Light or Dark saves your appearance preference in this browser’s local storage. Choosing System removes that saved preference and follows your device’s appearance setting. This preference is not used for advertising or analytics.

Support reports from OverCue Desktop.

The app sends a support report only after you open Create Support Report, enter a description and click Send. It includes that description, any optional name and email you provide, and bounded diagnostic information about OverCue, your computer, processing performance and connected USB topology. It does not intentionally include audio, stems, music-library databases, model weights, firmware, memory dumps or directory listings.

Reports are sent directly to private Vercel storage and matched to private report metadata in a managed Postgres database. After a report is verified, our email provider sends support@overcue.gg a plain-text notification with the report reference, app and platform details, and your description. Your optional contact information and diagnostics remain in private report storage. Received reports are retained for 30 days. Incomplete uploads are abandoned after 24 hours. An unsent report remains in the app's private local queue for up to seven days so it can retry, and you can view, retry or cancel it there.

We use support reports to investigate failures, performance problems and recovery behavior, and to contact you about the report when you provide an email address. The public support reference is not a download key. Email conversations started after a report follow the separate support correspondence practice below; deleting or expiring a report does not automatically delete a later email conversation.

Links and messages.

Links to public issue trackers, AlphaTheta and other sites take you to services with their own privacy policies. Issue reports may be public. Share only what is needed to explain the issue, and leave out personal details, passwords, music and other private files.

If you email support@overcue.gg, we use your contact details and message to respond and follow up on your question or concern. We have no fixed deletion period for support conversations and may retain them as a record of correspondence. Retention remains subject to applicable law and your privacy rights. You can send access or deletion requests to the same address.

Your rights.

Depending on the law that applies, you may have the right to know how your data is used, access it, correct it, delete it, limit or object to its use, receive a portable copy, or complain to the relevant privacy regulator. If processing relies on your consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. The conditions set out in the applicable law still apply.

This website and support-report flow do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. This notice does not cover data processing on your player.
